My Background
"After studying Architecture and Urban Planning; my love of design and drawing was reshaped and turned into a passion in abstract art, especially after having workshops /courses from very talented artists in Geneva.
Since then painting has been like an addiction to me and abstraction is a way of expressing myself as a free soul with no boundaries. Painting is like a meditation; a time to recenter myself, be calm, be clear and in the present moment.
my medium
I love using strong lively colors, bold but harmonious textures and superpose a mixture of different types of paints. Using rust, bitumen, ashes, café, soaps, bleaches and any materials ; it is my “Time of Alice in Wonderland “ ; time of imagination , dreaming and creation of my Mixed Media Artworks.
My Inspiration
Abstract art is a way to see sometimes everything in nothing”Best part of it; is working your feelings and imagination.
In the beginning of my practice, I was strongly inspired by different techniques and the works of Zao Wao Ki, Monet or Gerhard Richter. With time, my own style came across, in line with my taste and preferences.
I paint what I feel, as I am; with emotion and spontaneity. Colors, feelings , nature, everything inspires me.
EXHIBITIONS
I had my very first collective exhibition in 2018 in Geneva with PIT organisation for the sake of abandoned street animals; to donate and help them to be adopted.
It was followed by two more solo expositions in 2021 in Geneva and France. Consequently I had big opportunity to present my artworks to art lovers which were the result of long years work and share my passion with them.
I continue to participate to well-known art fairs and stay in connection with art lovers and collectors.
